DISTRIBUTION

WHOLESALE DELIVERY DRIVER

We are looking to add a full time Wholesale Delivery Driver to our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Loading the truck each morning according to the invoices assigned to your route, and double checking for accuracy to ensure correct delivery and maximize efficiency
  • Safe and timely delivery to customers within, to the extent possible, their preferred delivery times
  • Delivery directly into cold storage with the signature of an authorized bar/restaurant employee for proof of delivery, and accurate calculation of final invoice amount based on keg credits and tap handle deposits
  • Retrieval of all empty kegs including a general awareness of keg deficits (i.e. consistently delivering more kegs than there are empties to be returned) or keg hoarding (holding onto or cellaring “vintage” kegs)
  • Continued communication with supervisor to make aware of any impending or ongoing issues with customers.
  • Properly securing both empty and full kegs in the truck to prevent damage to interior of box
  • Operating the vehicle in a safe manner at all times
  • Responsible for proper service, maintenance, and repair of trucks.
  • Bi-weekly exterior washing and interior cleaning for all trucks including front cab and box.
  • Accurate and up to date mileage log as well as gas and other expenditures

Successful candidates will also possess:

  • Ability to lift 55 lbs and move 165 lbs regularly

PRODUCTION

CELLAR OPERATOR

We are looking to add a full time Cellar Operator to add to our team.

Responsibilities:

  • CIP/SIP of all brewery vessels
  • Wort and beer transfer
  • Yeast harvest, pitching and health management
  • Fermentation monitoring
  • Manual cleaning of brewery equipment and parts
  • Assist brewers with wort-creation and brew house operation
  • Assist with packaging; including canning and bottling, keg filling & cleaning
  • Operating the centrifuge
  • Strict adherence to sanitary and record-keeping standards
  • Basic facilities maintenance
  • Basic brewery equipment maintenance

Qualifications:

  • A degree from a professional brewing education program or related field is preferred
  • At least six months previous experience working in a brewery with an understanding of the physical requirements of this type of position
  • Demonstrated track record of success in prior positions

Successful candidates will also possess:

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Close attention to details
  • Willingness to assist with tasks outside key responsibilities

Must be able to:

PACKAGING OPERATOR

We are looking for a full time Packaging Operator to add to our growing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all packaging activity is done according to its SOP.
  • Properly clean and fill kegs.
  • Assist in canning utilizing the Wild Goose canning line and bottling on the Meheen bottling line.
  • Build and pack cased for cans and bottles.
  • Maintain proper packaging records and logs.
  • Maintain cleanliness of all packaging equipment,

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a production/packaging brewery preferred

HOSPITALITY

HOSPITALITY ASSOCIATE - FULL TIME

Kane Brewing is currently seeking a Full-Time Hospitality Associate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and welcome them to the Brewery.
  • Adhere to strict safety and sanitization protocols
  • Pour and serve beer to customers.
  • Maintain a clean environment.
  • Tap necessary kegs and check all taps for leaks
  • Maintain draft system and line cleaning
  • Fully stock supplies, merchandise and “to-go beer”
  • Maintain merchandise overstock organization
  • Check customer identification and provide brewery tours
  • Update menu boards
  • Maintain retail POS systems and process customer payments
  • Act as point of contact to assist other servers by answering questions, resolving customer issues and providing assistance as needed
  • Ensure an enjoyable experience for all customers.

Requirements:

  • Availability to work some evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift, stock and move cases and small kegs (up to 55 lbs)
  • Stand for 8-10 hours per day

This position is full-time, on-site at our Ocean Township, NJ brewery location.

HOSPITALITY ASSOCIATE – PART TIME

Kane Brewing is currently seeking a Part-Time Hospitality Associate.  Hospitality Associates pour beer in our Tasting Room and work the retail counter selling beer and merchandise to go. Required work hours are one shift each on Saturday and Sunday.  Approximate hours per weekend: 10 – 16 hours.

IMPORTANT: If you already have a full or part-time position with a wholesale distributor of alcohol or a bar/restaurant and are looking for extra hours, please do not apply.  We cannot hire across tiers of the three-tier alcohol distribution system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and welcome them to the Brewery.
  • Adhere to strict safety and sanitization protocols
  • Pour and serve beer to customers.
  • Maintain a clean environment.
  • Understand beer offerings and be able to answer questions as well as make recommendations.
  • Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues.

  • Uphold high standards of service quality and consistency.
  • Assist with other retail operations as needed.

Competencies:

  • Knowledge and/or passion for craft beer and brewing or willingness to be trained and learn
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated with a keen attention to detail

Requirements:

  • 21 years of age
  • Stand for 6-10 hours per day
  • Lift 55lbs, move 165lbs occasionally
  • Work in a fast-paced environment while still prioritizing safety and customer experience
  • Work in a non-temperature-controlled environment
  • Work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Excellent customer service and hospitality skills
  • Prior experience working in craft-focused bar or restaurant

Strongly Desired:

  • High level knowledge of draft system a plus
