TASTING ROOM
Our current Tasting Room has come a long way from our original space—created out of a converted conference room featuring 6 draft beers. As the brewery grew in popularity the Tasting Room spilled out into the brewery itself located along side our original 20bbl brewhouse and original 40bbl fermenters. In March of 2023 we were finally able to acquire more space to create a custom designed tasting room for our guests and visitors to better experience our beers.
The newest Tasting Room offers 16 draft beers, including small batch and limited releases, rare barrel-aged beers, bottles of our Spontaneous Beer Project, Field & Oak and occasional hand-drawn cask beers from our beer engine. We brought parts of our old tasting room with us, upcycling the old hand-built oak bar into customer tables and turning emptied bourbon and wine barrels into several high-top tables. In addition to these custom build tables, we have a smaller lounge area for relaxing on our couches and sharing a beer with old friends.

We also offer a wide variety of fresh IPAs, traditionally brewed lagers, stouts and a host of other styles in cans and our award winning barrel-aged stouts and barleywines in bottles, and a wide assortment of Kane merchandise to take with you.
Stop by to check out the brewing operation, take a self-guided tour, share a fresh beer or grab something to go.

Whole Leaf Magic
India Pale Ale
7.5% ABV
Whole Leaf Magic is once-a-year IPA brewed exclusively with Whole Leaf Hops. Each year we wait until after the U.S. hop harvest in the late summer so we can select a bale of the freshest, highest quality hops available to showcase in this beer. For Whole Leaf Magic 2023 we selected High-Oil Cascade from our friends at Segal Ranch. Segal Ranch estate grown hops are some of the highest quality hops we’ve used and we are particularly excited for you to taste this Single Hop Whole Leaf IPA. Whole Leaf Magic was brewed with a simple grist of straight Pilsner malt to allow the fantastic flavor and aromas of these High-Oil Cascade hops stand out. We used Whole Leaf Hops straight into the kettle right at the end of the boil for a firm but gentle bitterness. It was fermented with our house ale yeast at a cooler temperature for a more neutral fermentation profile to allow the aromatics of the hops to really shine. Finally it was double dry-hopped with more Whole Leaf High-Oil Cascade hops. Whole Leaf Magic pours a pale straw-colored gold with a slight unfiltered haze. The super bright, High-Oil Cascade hops bring a punch of pungent citrus, watermelon, grapefruit peel, and fresh cut grass to this incredibly flavorful IPA

4380
A Blend of Barrel-Aged Ales
15.0% ABV
4380 is our 15.0% Blend Of Barrel-Aged Ales. Since our first Anniversary Ale, 365, we reserve a portion of each release for aging so it can be blended a year later to create our next Anniversary Ale. By doing so each year, our Anniversary Ales will always contain a piece of our past. For this blend, our team carefully selected a portion of our Anniversary Ale that had been aging in Buffalo Trace's Sazerac Rye whiskey barrels for over 30 months. 4380 pours a dark mahogany color with flavors of caramelized sugar, vanilla, and notes of orange citrus with a touch of baking spice. 4380 blends the intricacies of our past Barrel-Aged Anniversary Ales with all the complexities we developed over the last 12 years from our current barrel-aged program.

4383
A Blend of Barrel-Aged Stouts
13.2% ABV
As our Anniversary approached we began to taste through our barrel stock to find the perfect blend to help celebrate 12 years. We ultimately chose two different base beers that were aged in a combination of four different brands of bourbon barrels. The beers began as two rich, high gravity Imperial Stouts—one brewed with Vermont Maple Syrup, the second with a touch of lactose. These two Imperial Stouts were aged in a combination of Buffalo Trace Stagg Jr., Heaven Hill, Buffalo Trace Weller and Buffalo Trace Blanton's bourbon barrels. The average age for this blend was 15 months. Once these barrels were blended into stainless, they were left to cold condition for close to a month to allow the flavors to mellow and come together. Then we conditioned the blend on a mix of cacao nibs from Ghana and Haiti and the highest quality vanilla beans from Brazil, Madagascar and East Timor. Finally, we conditioned the chocolate and vanilla blend on a combination of fresh and lightly toasted shaved coconut. 4383 pours a deep, dark brown, with a rich, mocha head. This full bodied, Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout blends the richest fudge brownie flavors from the cacao, with the smooth and creamy sweetness of the vanilla beans and coconut. All these flavors are layered on a base that pulls burnt sugar and caramel from the Maple Syrup that can stand up to 15 months of aging in bourbon soaked oak.

Malus
Apple Cider Ale
10.0% ABV
Malus, our 10.0% Apple Cider Ale, was the first beer we bottled back in 2012 and has since become a seasonal favorite. Malus is brewed with a complex malt bill of European Pilsner, wheat and a blend of light and dark caramel malts. We sourced locally pressed fresh apple cider from our friends Delicious Orchards that we boiled down and reduced into a syrup to replace the dark candi sugar we typically use in this style of beer. We used Czech Saaz hops during the boil to balance out the malt sweetness and provide a spicy, floral note to compliment the apple cider. Finally we add cinnamon, nutmeg, clove and allspice to the whirlpool to add a subtle spice character. Malus pours with a deep ruby hue and a pleasant ester profile of dark fruit, bubble gum and spice. The combination of reduced cider and spices brings flavors of mulled apple cider, plum and dried cherry with a subtle background holiday spice. The perfect beer to pair with the holidays and family.

Cherry & Strawberry | 2020 Harvest
Spontaneous
In June 2020, we traveled down to our favorite New Jersey strawberry farmer to pick up some overripe and incredibly aromatic strawberries. For this blend, our team selected a blend of two casks with an average age of 13 months to showcase the bright strawberry aromatics. After hand crushing the strawberries, we opt for a short contact time to extract the aromatic juices of the strawberries. We then took a portion of this beer and racked it onto the 2020 harvest of New Jersey Montmorency cherries. The beer then conditioned on the whole cherries in oak casks for an additional 6 months prior to bottling. Cherry & Strawberry | 2020 harvest spent an additional 2 years in bottle to allow for additional flavor development. The total average age of Cherry & Strawberry | 2020 Harvest is over 3.5 years at release. Cherry & Strawberry | 2020 Harvest pours a beautiful deep red color with immediate aromatics of fresh strawberries and pie cherries. The top-note perfumy aromatics of strawberries are intermingled with the deeper baking spice, cinnamon and sweet pie notes.
-
Blackberry & Blueberry | 2020 Harvest
Spontaneous
For the first release of this fruiting combination, we chose a blend across four different batches brewed in the Spring and Fall seasons of 2019. Approximately 20% of this blend consisted of an experimental batch that we brewed in Spring of 2019 where we replaced the unmalted wheat portion of the grist with unmalted buckwheat. The remaining portion of the blend was traditionally brewed spontaneous beer, a portion of which was aged in a chestnut puncheon. We pulled the blend at an average age of 13 months for fruiting in the summer of 2020. We separately refermented the beer on New Jersey harvested blackberries and blueberries and then conditioned for an additional 10 months in oak. Blackberry & Blueberry | 2020 Harvest pours a burnt purple, pushing aromatics of blackberry ice cream and blueberry wine along with deep flavor notes of raspberry jam, red wine and bramble. It pours with spritely carbonation and drinks with a balanced wine-like malolactic acidity.
-
Shiro Plum | 2020 Harvest
Spontaneous
In late July of 2020, we received a massive harvest of yellow New Jersey grown Shiro plums from one of our farm friends. We selected a single oak barrel of young spontaneous beer to blend at a 1:1 ratio for refermentation. After squishing the overripe fruit by hand, the beer was allowed to rest on the fruit and absorb the flavors of the plum juice, skins and pits. After refermentation the blend rested on the fruit for an additional 12 months prior to bottling. After bottle conditioning for an additional 16 months, Shiro Plum | 2020 Harvest has an average age of 37 months. Shiro Plum | 2020 Harvest pours a hazy pale blonde with lively carbonation that drives a sturdy white foam. Aromatics of plum skin and a light salinity, a balancing honeysuckle vanilla with notes of rainier cherries.

Notes of ruby red grapefruit, peaches and a hint of red wine are brought together by a supporting malt profile.
