14th Anniversary Head High
India Pale Ale
7.2% ABV
Every year for our Anniversary, we take Head High and push it further. Our 14th Anniversary Head High, a 7.2% IPA amplifies everything we love about Head High: a vibrant citrus core, soft tropical fruit flavors and aromas, and a supremely enjoyable beer brewed right here on the Jersey coast. 14th Anniversary Head High is brewed with all New Jersey-grown Pilsner malt, malted wheat, and rye from our good friends Rabbit Hill Malthouse, harkening back to the times we used to brew a rye Head High. This special beer is hopped with variations of Head High's traditional hops along with some of our favorite hops from the Southern Hemisphere. 14th Anniversary Head High starts with Columbus Cryo on the hot side to lay down a clean, punchy bitterness and resinous depth. From there, we built a massive dry-hop featuring Citra, Simcoe, Simcoe HyperBoost, Chinook Cryo, High Oil Cascade, Nelson, Galaxy, and Galaxy Spectrum. 14th Anniversary Head High delivers on bold aromatics of ripe citrus, fresh-cut pine, and overripe tropical fruit, with layers of white grape, stone fruit, and grapefruit zest. It is bright and expressive with a finish that nods to the roots of Head High while showcasing just how far it can go.
