Barrel Aged 365 is the bourbon barrel aged version of our first anniversary ale, originally released in 2012 as a blend of dark Belgian-style ale and barrel aged ales. Every year we reserve a portion of our anniversary ale to age in bourbon barrels and ultimately blend into the next year's vintage. We carefully taste different proportions of the component ales to arrive at the final blend, and take what's left and bottle it individually as a very limited release. The complexity of the original blend is further enhanced by extended barrel aging. Stored properly, Barrel Aged 365 should age well.
