Barrel-Aged Sunday Brunch is our 12.6% blend of Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Milk Porters conditioned on maple, cinnamon and dark roast coffee.
For this year’s blend we selected Imperial Porters that were brewed with lactose and Vermont maple syrup and aged them in a combination of 12-Year Weller, Woodford Reserve Double Oaked, 10-Year Russel's Reserve and Old Fitzgerald bourbon barrels for an average of 14 months. After resting in these barrels, the blend was conditioned on maple, cinnamon and dark roast coffee.
Bourbon Barrel-Aged Sunday Brunch pours black with a mocha head, with aromatics of maple drenched French toast, hints of vanilla, coconut, caramel and crème brulee from the extended aging in oak.
