Strawberry | 2022 Harvest

Strawberry | 2022 Harvest was blended across two brewing seasons of traditionally brewed spontaneously fermented beer, including a portion of 4-year-old beer. ​ ​ In early June of 2022, we traveled to South Jersey to pick up several hundreds of pounds of overripe strawberries. Our team hand-crushed the strawberries and added them directly to the blend in stainless for a short juice extraction at a rate of 8 lbs per gallon before refermentation in oak.​ ​ At bottling, this blend had an average age of 48 months and has been conditioning since its bottling in 2023. ​ ​ Strawberry | 2022 Harvest pours a burnt orange with aromatics of strawberry candy cereal and juicy strawberry gushers with flavors of strawberry lemonade and a balanced but complex acidity.
