10th Anniversary Head High
IPA
6.6% ABV
This 10th Anniversary Batch of Head High was brewed with the same base malt as all Head High batches, but we increased the wheat for more body and added honey malt to the malt bill to add some hints of honey-like sweetness. On the hot side we added Columbus, Chinook, Cascade, and Centennial in the kettle, with Cascade and Centennial in the whirlpool. Then we dry hopped with Galaxy, Citra, Chinook, and Simcoe at a higher rate than our usual batch. For those who drink Head High, this 10th Anniversary Batch will be familiar with more intense passionfruit, citrus, and stone fruit flavors and aromas.

Barrel Aged 730
Belgian Dark Strong Ale
10.2% ABV
Barrel Aged 730 is the Bourbon Barrel-Aged version of our second anniversary ale, originally released in 2013 as a blend of Belgian-style dark ales and barrel-aged ales, among them bourbon barrel aged 365. Every year we reserve a portion of our anniversary ale to age in bourbon barrels and ultimately blend into the next year's vintage. We carefully taste different proportions of the component ales to arrive at the final blend, and take what's left and bottle it individually as a very limited release. The complexity of the original blend is further enhanced by extended barrel-aging. Stored properly, Barrel Aged 730 should age well.
