FWD 701 Mosaic
India Pale Ale
7.4% ABV
FWD 701 Mosaic was brewed as a part of the FWD hop innovation program from Yakima Chief Ranches. FWD is focused on brewing community engagement, granting breweries access to the newest, not-yet-commercialized HBC varieties and products in YCH's innovation pipeline. We are the only brewery in New Jersey participating, along with many other breweries around the world. Through this program we were able to trial their new 701 hop product, intended to amplify hop aromatics. We are big fans of Mosaic, so it was an easy choice for us to push the tropical hop notes in our newest beer. FWD 701 Mosaic is hopped with 701 Mosaic in the Whirlpool and a blend of Mosaic 701, Cryo & T90 Pellets, and Citra Cryo & T90 Pellets in the dry-hop. Golden Raspberry | 2019 Harvest
Spontaneous
This blend came from a single barrel from our first spontaneous brew of Fall, 2018 that was racked onto Vermont grown Anne Golden Raspberries at 11 months old. It rested on the raspberries for 1 month before conditioning in oak for an additional 5 months prior to bottling. We then laid the beer down in bottle for an additional 13 months prior to release. The base beer was chosen as one of our favorite barrels from that fall brewing season. Yellow raspberries bring a floral profile to the beer while remaining distinctly raspberry. The fruit brings gold highlights with strong aromatics of fresh raspberries and light vanilla that layer over the apricot and citrus notes of the blend. The acid profile is bright but balanced as with all our blends.

Grüner Veltliner | 2020 Harvest
Spontaneous
In preparation for the New Jersey wine grape harvest in September 2020, we blended two different batches of our spontaneous base. The first component was from a portion of mature spontaneous beer brewed with buckwheat in place of wheat. The second component was from a traditional batch aged in a Moscatel cask. Freshly pressed juice from New Jersey grown Austrian white wine varietal was added to our spontaneous blend and allowed to referment in oak twelve months before racking it out of oak for bottling. This marked our first use of the elegant Grüner Veltliner grape. At release the average age of Grüner Veltliner | 2020 Harvest is 37 months. Grüner Veltliner | 2020 Harvest pours like a sparkling white wine with high carbonation that pushes a rocky white foam head. Aromatics of fresh cut grass, citron, yuzu and fresh baked brioche from extended bottle conditioning compliment the dry finish.
